Online Contest Participation:

Children must be 17 years old or younger on the date their entry is uploaded to be eligible to participate. Children from all across the world are invited to participate in the online art contest. This competition requires a fee to enter. Because this competition is for children aged 3 to 17, parents are encouraged to read, understand, and accept the contest’s terms and conditions. By submitting the registration form, the participant and his or her parent agree to follow all of the contest’s rules and regulations. Please read the procedures for entering the art contest carefully and make sure you understand them completely.
 
Entrants will be separated into age categories as follows:
• Group A: Age- 3 to 6 years
• Group B: Age- 7 to 9 years
• Group C: Age- 10 to 13 years
• Group D: Age- 14 to 17 years
Registration Fee for AAP-season 7 (2024): INR 250/- per Competition
 

Important dates to remember

• All participants must register for the competition by 07 January 2025

The organisers have the rights to extend the registration deadlines.

Submissions:
Each participant must record a video (max of 2 min) while drawing/writing that includes the beginning, middle, and end of the artwork. We may ask when you have been shortlisted as a finalist.
The artwork must be A4 or A3 in size, and the file size of the drawing work cannot exceed 5 MBs.
The file must be in JPG or PDF format only.
The work should be photographed in a clear and visible manner. In the shot, the student details indicated on the artwork must be visible.
Hand-drawn, original, imaginative, and unsupported work is required. Any image created by digital, electronic, or mechanical means will be disqualified from the competition. We will be holding a separate contest for digital illustrations very shortly. Keep an eye out for it.
Pencil, pen, charcoal, crayon, pastel, water colour, acrylics, oils, and poster colour may be used to create the artwork.
Children with special needs may receive assistance from their parents, guardians, or teachers with their work. If assistance is given, please mention in the comment section along with the respective entry.
The artwork should be strictly related to the theme and topics given for respective competition.
The outfit must be clearly visible in the submitted photo for the fancy dress competition. Our team may contact the fancy dress competition’s finalists for additional information.
 
Judging Criteria and Results:
The valid entries will be scrutinised by a committee of distinguished individuals from the art and media industries. The judging committee is composed of at least two prominent people, artists, or art critics. One or more members of the inspection committee are on the committee. The name of the winners from each competition are chosen by the judging committee. In all aspects relating to the competition, our judgement will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

Judges are looking for:

  • Innovative presentation
  • Unusual perspective or viewpoint
  • A message or idea that is being conveyed
  • Skill with the medium appropriate to the age group (although sometimes the significance of the message is more important than the medium)
  • Creativity and originality of the depicted theme
  • For Handwriting Competition the presentation includes neatness, spelling, grammar, format, following rules, punctuation, overwriting, margins and Suitability (length, word count, spacing between characters, word and line spacing, letter formation)

The decision of examiner and jury will be final and binding to all participants.

The rewards will be delivered to their provided residence address within 15-20 working days after the result. We will contact the winners before dispatching the rewards but if the winner fails to respond to our notification attempts within this time or confirm an address for delivery of the parcel or fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements or is otherwise unable to comply with the competition terms and conditions, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and offer the award to the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found. The winners of the contest will be announced on our website. The announcement may include the name and photograph, the town or region of residence. Result might get delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. If the delay happens, then all the participants will be notified through social media account and website.

Those students who do not upload their original artwork will not be eligible for the winning category or any further promotion.

Know the following rules:
If your participation medal, memento, or certificate is returned to our office for any of the following reasons (but not limited to):
1. The address you provided during registration is inaccurate.
2. The postal service’s unavailability
3. No one was available to accept the parcel.
4. Others
the participant will thereafter be charged an additional fee to resend the parcel.
 
If a participant does not meet the eligibility requirements, he or she will not be recognised a winner and will be ineligible to receive an award under any circumstances.
Our decision on all competition-related concerns will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
All contest-related communications will be in English or Hindi.
Acceptance of all terms and conditions will be deemed upon entry into the competition.
If any kind of fraud or plagiarism is discovered on the part of an entry, he or she will be disqualified from this contest.
The contest entry must not contain any content, material, or element that is unlawful or otherwise violates or contradicts all applicable national, state, or local laws and regulations.
The images shown on the website are only for illustration purposes. 
Swami Vivekanand Education and Research Centre is not liable for any malfunction or failure of the contest website or the server hosting the site, as well as any malfunction/failure of telecommunication transmission, network connectivity, or hardware/software failures of any type.
 
Mentorship Programme:
The mentor will ensure that all of the students mentioned participated in the contest successfully. It is completely his/her responsibility to confirm the students’ participation. The mentor must provide the organiser with a list of participants so that their participation can be verified.
 
Right to use & confidentiality: 
The copyrights and intellectual property for the submitted work are owned by the participants who created it. It is the person submitting the entries’ responsibility to protect these rights.
The participants agree that the organisers will have complete rights to utilise the intellectual property of the submitted artwork in their promotional activities.
The organisers will regard any entry that incorporates copyrighted work as if the applicant who submitted the photo had obtained permission from the right holder to use the copyrighted work.
In the event of a complaint or objection from a third party about the copyright of the submitted work, the organisers will be released from all obligation and accountability for any legal issues. The dispute will be resolved by the participant.
By submitting the submission form, participants are believed to have acknowledged and consented to the entry guidelines.
 
Publicity/Exposure:
We may engage in public relations activities in connection with the competitions and awards. As a result, the winner agrees to use their name, photograph, and town or area of residence disclosure in any post-winning publicity names, surnames, towns or regions of residence, and award details.
All other personal information collected as part of the competition will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
